Okunuin is a complex consist of 200 graveyards and monuments, it is also a home of 300 years old cedar trees. The site is protected as UNESCO heritage site and what I love the most about Koyasan (the town Okunuin is located) was how quite and remote it was compared to the busy Tokyo and Kyoto. To reach this town you will need a cable car since it's located high up in the mountain. Extremely beautiful.
